Venti 1 pump caramel, 1 pump white mocha, 2 scoops vanilla bean powder, extra ice frappuchino with 2 shots poured over the top with caramel drizzle under and on top of the whipped cream, double cupped…that’s what some people order. I keep it simple…a venti brew of the day, or for those “treat me ’cause I deserve it days, I splurge for my seasonal fave, a pumpkin spice latte.
I’m tired. A lot. And I can’t really afford to be tired, EVER, because I have two precious energetic little girls who want to play and run and laugh and go to the park and the library and that’s just our morning. In the past three years, my personal statistic of coffee intake has sky-rocketed. I guess you could say I have topped my own personal best in competitive coffee drinking (beat-out thesis writing coffee drinking which held the previous title). It seems to be just the right dose of pick-me-up to maintain optimal functioning until evening.
Some people talk about drinking coffee as a chore, I think it should be a simple pleasure that gives you that much needed break. And if you just happen to be that complicated person, go ahead, order a complicated drink that’s all your own. They won’t mind.
